CorelDraw Quick-startup screen cursor error with McAfee VirusScan Update

I just updated McAfee VirusScan Enterprise Edition to version 8.0.0.
After the update, the cursor changes to a black square upon scrolling to different options from the quickstart up menu on initial start of CorelDraw. The cursor looks okay when the menu item is not selected.
I am suspecting some type of script blocking by the VirusScan.
Anybody have solutions or experienced same problem?
Thanks in advance.

We've had exactly the same problem and have finally found the solution.
You need to patch your VirusScan Enterprise 8.0.0 upto patch 9. Apparently this issue was caused by Windows Update changes that adversely affected VirusScan. You need to be registered VirusScan user and enter your Grant Number to obtain these patches from https://mysupport.nai.com.
