Sometimes it's the simplest things that impress me at this
point... :-)

An example? Drawing a line/curve and erasing it "on the fly" with the
freehand tool by pressing shift and back-tracking over what you'd drawn.
Thanks to Meester Foster for that one.

The next Powertips tutorial will be jammed with nifty stuff (in many cases
practical). The topics are in place, I just need to expand on them! :-)

Here's a link to a FREE training movie for Parallel lines the first way I
learned. - Just 414k. Seriously compressed... amazing to get audio & video
into such a small file.

http://transportationcompliance.com/corel-para-lines.wmv

Don't stream it - right click, "save target as" and save permanently to your
computer.

I'll probably put this in my area at Foster's site after a while.

Let me know if there are any problems playing this file. It uses an older
Win Media
screen capture codec that everyone should have.

My Windows Media Player is telling me:

The audio codec identified by the format tag 130 is required to play this
file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web,
click Web Help.

I can't find any info about this format. What sort of player do you suggest
to work with this .wmv file?

Hi Steve,

This movie should play in any windows media player from Win 98 on up.

some steps;

1. ensure whole movie is downloaded to your desktop for ex.

2. keep your internet connection active if you're on dial-up

3. double click file to launch in win. media player. if a codec is required,
it should be automatically fetched online.

Let me know if this helps. :-)
