Importing text?

Me again . . . Why can't I import a .txt file in CorelDRAW? I select File <
Import and it gives me a "text import" error message.

Can you not import text files into CorelDRAW 10?

Of course you can. The text file you are trying to import may be corrupted.

Open Windows Node Pad. Open the text file. Resave with another name. Import
into DRAW.

Even when I create a new file with just one word, I can't import it.

If I draw a text box first, I get: Import Text Error.
If I just try to import the file into an active file, it says:
There was a problem reading file duh duh duh, even if it's a new file.

Open Notepad and just copy and past the text into Draw10. Works for me.
